School toppers in the recently held 10th & 12th standard examinations were facilitated and blessed by Pujyashri Shankara Vijayendra Saraswathi Shankaracharya Swamigal at Enathur, near Kanchipuram on 3rd June 2024. Students from various Sankara schools from across Tamilnadu congregated at Sri Chandrasekharendra Saraswathi Viswa Mahavidyalaya, Enathur, near Kanchipuram for the special programme held to felicitate them on their meritorious performance in the public examinations held in 2024. His Holiness gave a Message of Blessings, stressing on the need for Education with Cultural Values and Ethics, making the individual into someone who contributes to the development of our Society and Country. He blessed each student individually with Prasadam. A certificate and medal was awarded to the students.
Earlier, students of Sankara schools staged a play on Adi Shankaracharya’s Life history. Using technology to good effect, the LED wall background came alive with appropriate images transposed with the live actors delivering powerful dialogues, resulting in an interesting play for the audience. The students accompanied by parents also visited various temples in Kanchipuram and Sri Shankara Matham earlier in the day. Trustees of Sri Sankara Educational Trust, the sponsoring body of Sankara Schools participated, along with the Vice Chancellor and other officials of SCSVMV University.
